My F-30 owners manual states: The engine can be operated without a thermostat and valves, but "The passage from the pump to the manifold must be blocked off, . . . or engine will overheat." Has anyone had an overheating problem without a thermostat and without blocking the connection from the pump to the manifold? My W-30 manual does not discuss this issue. Has anyone had overheating problems in a W-30?
