I'm glad you got to go to the convention Adam. I never did get to go to it even though it was in Kansas City, Mo., and I live in Ash Grove, Mo 3hrs away. I did show a fat calf at the Ameican Royal in 1958 and the convention was going on then. Some of us stood out side the hall and listened to Earnie Kovaks speak. you may have to ask your Granddad who he was. He had some Nat. Officers after him because he made a comment about our funny looking jackets. I will be 62 on the 27th of this month, and my jacket is hanging in the base ment somewhere I proably couldn't get my arm down the sleeve very far.
