You have to let it warm a good while on gas before switchover. If weather is warm, at least a couple minutes, more in cold weather. Also when you switch to diesel, you must advance the diesel speed control at the same time you switch the gas/diesel lever to diesel. If the diesel speed control is in the shut off position, of course you will get nothing to the injectors. Also, does it have a fuel pressure gage on it and is it showing pressure in the run range while it's running on gas?? This is kind of basic information and assumes you don't know how to start one of these beasts. If you have some experience with it, and it has run before for you, maybe something wrong inside the injection pump system.
