FFA was dying at that time, I was in FFA 1954 to 1960 when only boys were allowed in it. I am glad they were smart enought to change with the times. When I was in school 2/3 of the boys took Ag.and were in FFA I just ask my grand daughter she said proably 1/4 of the students took it now. Some where in the 80's our school was in financial diffculty, and Ag. was one of the things on the possable hit list.
