Thanks both for the info. I've never had this tractor under any real load, just been working on it and plan to use it for mowing pastures. It does start to miss when I get the RPM up to the top while running up and down the road. I've been told that the governor will cause that, don't know. I have had the air cleaner cannister off, but didn't run it at that time. My biggest concern is that I'm getting diesel into the engine oil and risking a huge repair bill.
