I agree you should restore it, but be careful how you go about it. I have seen about $10K go into one of these, but about everything that could have been bad on it, was. My suggestion would be to find another tractor with a good engine and bad something else, and make a good one from the 2. I have (at least) one of each the 5 gas start diesel series, and would part with most any of them for less than the money I saw go into the $10K tractor. Good luck.
