Another hint ,if you don't want a bath in Hytran or don't want to lose a great amt. nose the front end down in a steep ditch so that the front is at least 2 to 3 feet lower than the rear . Your Case IH dealer should have a plate to go over the opening that he'll loan you so you can go ahead and use the tractor while the PTO is being rebuilt. At the dealer I worked at yrs. ago we pulled the PTO'S out of all used wholesale tractors.
