I checked my book and it doesent really ansewer your question, but only state sthat the numbered side of the rod and cap are installed facing toward the camshaft side of the engine. this information is for the c-113 engine. That is all the information that I can offer but make sure you find out about the proper piston installtion, is frustrating to do this much work and then find out that you put them in facing the wrong direction. good luck with your project, Jon Mirgon
