Gentlemen, It is not a scam by any means. If someone told you that it would only take a few weeks, they were in la-la land. Think about it for a moment before you go spreading bad vibes. The photographer took literally thousands of photos at the show. They have to be edited by the Show Book Committee, and put together in a rough layout. Then the text for all the photos has to be generated. Not to mention getting several thousand books professionally printed. In all the past years of IHC Show Books, they have normally been ready for Xmas delivery. You can't hurry quality and that's what these books have been. Last, but not least, the labor for all the above is donated by Chapter members, for the good of the IH collecting community. If you want to pay $40 or $50 for the Showbook, then maybe you could get it quicker. Mike Androvich, Past President IH Collectors.
