I'm wondering if there are any after market or local sources for a Super A, Carter carburetor rebuild kit. My IH dealer quoted me a price of $67 and I was hoping to find it at a price that would be a little nicer to my restoration budget. Also, I have a fuel bowl drain plug that is stuck tight and the throttle stop screw is twisted off. The body of this unit is relatively thin and I'm a little worried that if I put too much pressure on these I'll break the body. I would apply heat, but the material looks like it could be melted or warped easily as well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
