I looked at the left of the clutch housing like you said. There is a raised area there like an oval shaped boss a little over an inch in diameter. There are two holes in it. Is this area you are talking about..? If it is, then someone must have removed it. Oh well. Do the numbers cast into the side of the engine and rear housing areas mean anything other than part numbers. I smiled when I saw the firing sequence. That's the was we used to do things in the good ol' US isn't it.....Dave
