Cowman, I know what you mean. I went to Tennessee a couple months ago, and when I got back home, Lo and behold, a 1940 "A" was sitting on my trailer. Way too far to take it back, so I guess I'll keep it. I have a little tinkering to do also, because I would hope I can tune it up good enough so that it doesnt need coaxed to keep running when first cranked. Key word is "cranked". No electric starter. Hopefully, new plugs and wires, rebuilt carburetor, and all the obvious, easy access stuff will do the trick. Good luck on your "H".
