I just recently pulled mine off my 46 A, but not without breaking chuncks out of it first. I tried a gear puller and broke a chip, then I tried a bearing puller and broke a chip, I pumped it full of PB Blaster and even hit it with a propane torch and she wouldn't budge. Lastly I ordered a pulley puller (OTC679) and a monster two-jaw puller (OTC1035) from CarTools.com. I had to really lean on the wrench when I was turning the puller screw, but when it popped loose it came right off as easy as you please. The secret is to place the pulley pulling attachment behind the pulley, if you clamp it in the V you'll break the pulley like I did. I had to buy a new one!
