jal is right. I know farmers in OK wheat country that used to run them on vapor all the time, only feeding it liquid when plowing or pulling them hard. I wouldn't be concerned about liquid for light work or mowing, etc and especially for just running it around the yard. I have a 806LP that has the liquid valve disconnected, was like that when I bought it and as it is not worked hard I just havent fixed it.
