CNKS is correct, it's like the 300RC. There is a set screw on the flange on the upper fan belt pulley which you'll have to loosen, and then you screw the pulley out to loosen the belt enough to remove it. The sides of the pulley are two different pieces which move apart to loosen the belt, and vice versa. Probably this is going to require some penetrating oil since it sounds as though all this stuff hasn't been adjusted for quite some time. This may not be a lot of fun. I'd strongly suggest you spend a few bucks on the Operators Manual. The Service Manual set and the Parts Manual are extremely useful if you're planning on doing maintenance yourself. Binder Books supplies very good reprints of the IH originals; some of the other vendors are greatly inferior. Welcome to the 300U club.
