Ken, In our area most Farmall 706's and 806's were sold without any fenders. The first few years the shell fenders were the only option but I believe it was either the last year or last two years of 706 and 806 production that the flat fenders were introduced. The tractors were built from 63 - 67. I believe the flat top fenders were probably introduced in 66 or 67. Possably as early as late 65. The 706 and 806 fenders are the same and are interchangable. I agree with you in that I also like the look of the flat top fenders better than the shell fenders. Harold H
