carburater gasket

Sunday I was working on the 100 carburater and was about to put the permatex on the new mounting gasket and realized I didn't have enough and no store that would carry it would be open for miles. Had to put it on you know. I used some of the spray copper that I put on the head. Will this be ok? Thanks
