Rusty described how to pipe it up. The Lift all control rod has three positions. All the way forward is release or down. The fluid is released from the cylinder back into the reservoir and the implement goes down by gravity. All the way back is lift. Internal control valve in the lift all directs oil from the pump to the pressure ports and thus the cylinder. The half way point (the latch on the underside of the control rod is "hold". The load is held at the current postition, neither suppling fluid or allowing release from the cylinder.
