This is what was called a "RED POWER" 1586(Should have red side panels instead of the more familiar white ones & a little white circle with the words "RED POWER" in it). In 1979, IH had a big ad campaign featuring "IH Red Power Showdown Days" & several 86 series tractors were produced with the red power decals & the IH with a branding iron(show'em your brand was the ad slogan behind this decal). These were along the same line as the "Gold Demonstrator" 26-56 Series & white Cubs, Super As, & Cs, they were marketing gimmicks.
