That sort of sucks when you cant't find or don't have a serial #. if you look on the right side of the engine there should be a serial # towards the front of the tractor it is about half way up the engine, it is stamped into the engine, if you get the # for me i will get the year for you, i have a book with serial numbers.
An old timer once told my dad, "if it don't have a serial tag it ain't worth much"
