Thanks to all who helped me in the past two weeks w/ 49' C. I got the head back from the machine shop & bolted it on tonight & it started after only cranking for about 3 seconds...smoothed right out, I'm impressed... For those who care, it started running rough about a month ago, so I decided it was time for a tune-up...well, one thing led to another which led to another & another & in the end I ended up replacing all ignition parts (magneto/ wires/ coil/ plugs/ distributor cap/ rotor/ points)...than I knew the valves had blow-by (wet compression test..rings were good)..so, off to the machinist (new seats/ vavles/ springs/ pushrods/ seals)....than , I finally gave it new brakes (15yrs overdue), bought 2 new tires for the back (12 * 38's), new battery, re-built the starter (also 15yrs overdue), rebuilt generator (yep, 15yrs overdue), flushed the radiator/ pressure tested, new hoses, new belts, new clamps, new swithc for magneto (I don't have to twist two wires anymore), than I painted the whole shootin' match & ordered a new muffler & new decals for her....ugh!!!! All this started because she was running rough!!!! Anyway, tomorrow I'll finish putting the sheetmetal on her, & hopefully the decals will be here this week!! Anyone want to buy a new 1949 C???? Thanks again to all who answered my questions over the past 4 weeks, it all worked!

This particular product is sold in three parts, a bottle of etch, dryer, and sealer. We were fortunate enough to start the process with stern warnings from those that had used this type of product before. The horror
