a govenor brag story

Bought an A farmall this spring with a 5' belly mower. Tractor ran like a champ all summer except for the govenor not working. I thought I would fix it this winter. aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh now the braggin starts I got the manual out and did the adjustment like it said, ran like a sick goat. Took out the bottom adjustment {threaded bolt}. The bolt is
hollowed out to accept a spring. Spring was broken. Old 04 struts over to the local hardware
store with the remains of the ole spring, bought a new compression spring for .60. Installed this expensive spring, went through the same adjustment procedure and holy moly, ran like
a new bride. This makes up for a lot of my other blunders. Sorry all you guys had to put up with my braggin.
