Ever since I have owned this 1066 it wood jump out of reverse. So last night I took off the top cover where the linkage goes through, and found the spring that goes on the shifter arms was off and one of the roller cams was broke. So I took it apart and welded the stud that the cam rolls on Thinking this solved the problem I put it back together only to find out it still jumps out of gear. It seems to go past reverse you have to move the shifter back towards the neautral locationto get it to move in reverse. But some times it will go in gear the way it suppose to. I was wondering if I would put it together and move the splined shaft going down to the shifter fork a little one way are the other will help. Can you take the plate off the side of the case and see the reverse gear?
