hydraulics--Up or down

Please help me get to the bottom of this issue. When I am done using the hydraulics on my Farmall 140, do I leave the blade or bucket in the air or on the ground. I see some people leave them off the ground. I would think there would be a leakdown. Also, it takes some of the weight off the tires to leave the stuff on the ground. Tell me what you fellas have heard or been told. george
