Well after I got the steering box off and cleaned up I found it leaking at the bottom called the expansion plug. EASY FIX RIGHT?>>>> I noticed some water in the Hytran lines so of course I had to see how bad it was. I can only say>> IF you have had water in your hydraulic system/tranny/power steering>>>YOU HAD BETTER FIND SOME WAY TO FLUSH IT OUT. The inside of the unit was filled with rust and sludge...I can't believe it even worked. Hopefully I can get the parts I need. Most of them cleaned up after bead blasting and solvent. Any way rebuilding the unit isn't to bad ..very messy and time consuming. Definetly a do it your self project.
