We had a 766 gas on the farm when I was growing up. We also had a 766 diesel. Both great tractors. The 766 gas was our chore/loader tractor, and the diesel was our number two field tractor. We also had a 966. The 766G was better than a diesel in the winter (northern WI) for hauling manure and feeding. Only bad thing was the gasser sure new its way yo the gas tank. Either 766 would pull a 5 - 16s plow and a 13ft tandem disk with 20 inch blades. Dad has a 666 gas since he retired that he uses to care for about 10 head of cattle. Love those 66 series tractors.
