BobM- Not trying to be a smartaleck or anything here, just curious since I'm just learning about the gas start IH deisels myself, but how would switching it to gas before shutting it down help with the plugs fouling? Isn't when it's running on gas the only time the plugs are working and exposed to combustion? Seems to me that limiting the time it's running on gas would work better. I am aware that these tractors need a cooldown period before shutting them off, but from what I read here lots of people just idle them on deisel before shutting them off. Thanks for any advice!
