Styled tractors came out in the late thirties with sheet metal over the radiator and engine, to join in the trend of style that was affecting cars and everything else. 'compare the Farmall H, with earlier F-20 for example. Raymond Lowey (I believe) was hired to redesign the look of the International and Farmall tractors, and he also did the logo, designs for dealerships, etc.
