I have had the belt pulley assembly off of my WD-9 to put a new gasket in. I drained the oil from a plug almost directly under the belt pulley assembly, ending up with roughly 1.5 gallons. After putting the assembly back on I started pouring oil into the "fill hole" in the top of it, but then reading my manual it seems as though the trans and belt pulley reservoirs are connected and they hold 10 gallons total. I located another drain plug in the bottom of the casting near the back right tire and a fill hole on top of the transmission. My question: Are they connected and if so do I need to fill each hole separately? Also, is there a plug on the side of the casting somewhere that is a full indicator? Thanks in advance for your time, the knowledge on this site is nearly priceless.
