Kelly: I have to say you seem to have gotten an excellent price for you T.A. I believe My rebuilds are sold @ $575.00(except for 544/656/666/686), exchange and add $100.00 for the rebuild with a heavy duty sprague. Other prices you quoted seem right in line. I remembered a tip you will want to use if you don't know it already. Use an ordinary rubber band and place it around the roller bearings of the top shaft in the rear end of the tractor. This is the shaft you T.A. shaft will slide over. The rubber band keeps the rollers tight together alowing for an easier assembly of the bellhousing to the rear end. Rubberband will just slide off the bearing and remain there without damaging any hardware. Also using bolts with heads cut off and tapered for guides are a must too.
