I just came in from getting the carb off. I got a good look at the fuel set up and ill describe it for you.

Big tank has large (tall) sediment bowl directly under it. Fuel hose coming off of bowl, behind air cleaner, acrosss carb and into elbow on front of carb. Removel of elbow exposes a wire fuel strainer inside the carb body. The carb has 1 float inside with 2 float bouys. Has a needle adjuster on bottom front, and on up top o nthe top part neck, facing down at an angle. The petcock i mentioned is a drain for the bowl. The gasket is destroyed and im not going to bother makign a new one, seeign as how it cant be started due to the 12V coil ignition and holey intake.
The Weld on the side of the block is larger than I thought. It spans about 10" straight across the block, directly behind the carb. IT doesnt appear to have been leaking.
