I think I paid about $2,800. almost 8 years ago for my '73 w/60 belly mower. There are two belts that run the pto (behind the side panel in front of the dash) that are quite pricy ($50.) When I first got mine, I got after market ones for half that and they only last a year, then did the same thing again and only got a year out of them. Finally broke down and got them from a dealer and have had them on there for about 5 years and still ok. Parts are pretty easy to get still, except for the battery box cover it seems. Mine was a cherry, one owner and I knew him, other wise I would not have given that much for it. I have noticed that here in southern Indiana, the price of tractors is not nearly as high as in other areas of the country though. Hope that helps.
