the factory setup uses a long rod back to the mower lift pivot shaft up to the tractor with a lift all cylinder hooked to the drawbar clamp, this piece may have to be turned so the long end with the hole in it points down to hook the back of the cylinder to, then there is another piece that bolts to the boss on the side of the transmission that the long rod and the front of the cylinder pivots off of.this is the setup for putting your mower on a h or an m. it would be easier to buy a manual for your mower on ebay if you have never seen this before or you could rig up some brackets to use a standard 3" by 8" cylinder.
