Diesel will always outpull gas, unless you have a high rpm gas screamer with lots more room for rpm drop. Diesel has way more torque, therefore takes alot more force to lower the revs than a gas. I just broke up 20 acres with a 10 foot ih deep tillage and my wd 6. It was a good pull, every so often the cultivator would hookup a bit and lift the front end of the tractor off the ground. I would not even attempt to do this with my w 400 gas. Gas makes a better run around light duty tractor due to ease of starting, lighter weight and less warmup/cooldown time. But you will never beat a diesel for heavy field work and long life.
