Hi, my brother has a 684D, has about 6000 Hrs. on it and still going strong. As someone else mentioned about parking brake problems. Be careful not to leave parking brake on as the bits will end up in the transmission/hydraulic oil. The other problem is air in the foot brakes that requires bleeding. Engine is German build D239, rear end is built in UK. If you are lucky and it was assembled in U.S. it may have Delco electrical parts instead of Lucas. My brother replaced his Lucas alternator with a $20 Delco from auto wrecker. Mounting is almost the same and ran 1 new wire from the switch. Very good utility tractor in 60 HP range. JB
