MD vs WD9 injecter pump

Will an injecter pump off of a WD9 fit on an MD or SMD? I don't believe the head does but the pumps look similar.
On a side note got a MD that had not been running for about 15 yrs according to the farmer started on gas and diesel today. Feels good knowing that this one should not have to go to parts. This MD does not need an injecter pump just wondering in case I find a parts WD9.
