Dan.I almost bought a 560d but decided to go with a smta that has a bad ta. Ta worked well but could hear gear noise in low range haggled with the dealer and he finaly saw things my way.Right now tractor is split and center section is on the bench.Steel wheel ranch is the lowest price that I have come across for reman unit $400 with exchange BUT and a big one the old ta must be rebuildable if not add $100 bucke mine is not due to bad planet gears.Rember that when you split these tractors many decisions are to be made.Im also replacing main clutch pressure plate t/bearing ipto shaft and drive gear resurfacing flywheel seals gaskets and fluid, plan on dropping arround a grand on drive train and ta alone. You might luck out and only need an adjustment on ta and clutch linkage or just a clutch.I have been playing with old machinery for years its a good hobby.Rule of thumb what ever you plan to spend before you start your inspection double it that way no suprises.Good luck be safe and have fun.Paul. By the way check binder books I have bought many manuals from them and am impressed a little pricy but worth the info.
