sense is masured in licks. Mom would say "Boy you ain't got a lick of sense" and proptly give me a few licks for what I did wrong. I remembered most of them licks as repeat being bad would bring on more licks. Many people have to go to school to get their allotment of licks. Long time ago on the first day of a land survey class this guy raised his hand and ask if he hod to come to class. I later talked to him and ask why he would pay and not attend the class and his response was that he already knew everything that the class would teach but had to make attending the class formal. For some reason anytime a matter of knowledge,skill or the ability to do something came up I would remember what that guy said. We are all different and just like a PB&J sandwich-no matter how you spread it is always good. Some can sing some can dance some are leaders some are followers and some have sense that no one else could ever have given them.
