You could get a Super MTA less TA, but with LPTO, but you couldn't get a plain Super M with live PTO. They didn't have the shaft to drive the live PTO unit like the MTA. What you're saying is true because the MTA without TA still had the longer torque tube like the ones with TA. You could even get a SMTA without live PTO.
