Pat: Most cabs of that era were great for a few years, but since they just plunked an open bottom cab over the tractor it was hard to keep the compartment insulated from noise. Early cabs were also very small. Once they became no longer tight, they were a collector of dirt rather than keeping dirt and dust away from you. If someone is just going to sit in there and plow snow, it will work great to protect them from the elements of winter. Other than that it will seem like a cage. I had cabs that were roomy and new at time, but always wished I could set them to one side for summer. Sorry I can't give you answers only my thoughts from using.
