There were indeed crossover projects or initiatives between FFA and 4H, such as live stock raising, Mechanical machinery maintainence, Horticulture, just to name a few. FFA comes under the auspices of the Educational system, while 4H is an extension of the County Agricultural Dept. Both are open to both boys and girls, both promote quality of life whether rural or urban.
