Guy Fay Origniality question

Guy,

I have a 1950 Super A, by serial number and by casting dates.... It had seal beam flat head lights on it that looks original to the tractor. You write in you book that the sealed beam flat type replaced the tear drop style in 1952. Good enough, but my question is, were the sealed beam availaliable as an option prior to 1952? Could my 1950 have had sealed beam headlights originally? OR has someone changed them along the way? I just want to be as authentic as possible....
