I too had a 450 that I had problems with the power steering. I posted in this forum and had all kind of answers. Some right, some wrong. The problem is in the flow divider, you will find that the valves are worn. You can't get a kit or parts for them or even a new one. Don't try a used one because they probably are as bad as the one you have. What I did was come out of the flow divider(where your power hoses are) and put in a universal flow divider. You will have to do some pluming but my power steering works great.
