Thanks everyone for equipment recommendations in my earlier post. My farm is in NE Iowa. I have small, hilly fields--most are 10-40 acres in size. Many folks recommended a 4-16 plow for my 806. I've seen old-style trailer plows and fast hitch plows and have heard of semi-mounted plows. My 806 has a 3pt, so a fast hitch plow is out. What other types of 4-16 plows are out there? What type is best/easiest to use? Does the brand matter? There's lots of green in my area. I have small fields--is one type of plow better at making turns than others? Thanks again for helping a newbie farmer.
