When I was growing up in the early 50's we had a SC and Ford 8N. The SC was the main tractor, we had 2 furrow plow, 6ft sickle mower, 2 row cultivator, 6ft tandem disk and front end loader. It was used to pull a NH forage harvester that had a V4 Wisconsin engine on it. Later we used it to bale with IH 45 baler but did not pull wagon behind it. The Ford was only used to rake hay, run the forage blower or pull wagons. The SC was the work horse on our farm until we traded SC for 300U in 58. JB
