It is in the neighborhood of 3 quarts, give or take a little. You may want to replace the oil and run it a little. Then drain and re-fill it a second time. You may be able to break the lines on the inlet/outlet of the pump but you still will probably leave some old oil in there. When you fill it the hyraulic levers are supposed to be in the "back" postion. If I rememeber right you fill it to about 1/2" below the fill plug. If you do drain the oil out of the pump you may have to prime the pump by cracking a fitting on the outlet of the pump to get it to start pumping again. I guess this is why I would just change the oil twice.
