According to Guy Fay's book, serial number 18187 should have been made in the later part of 1953. The numbers for 1953 were 501-22201. The way I understand it, Stage I was the larger engine and disk breaks. In Stage II the Super C seat and live hydraulics were added. These would be easy things to notice if you can see the tractor. I don't know enough to tell you about the G at the end. They used several prefixes to denote models and options, such as X1 for gasoline engine. Maybe someone with more experience can tell us what the G is for.
