Ray, Hopefully the "weld a nut" trick will work. If you have to take it to a machine shop to have the stud removed, then to a radiator shop to have the leaks repaired, you could easily spend as much on it as a new one would cost. Just something to consider. Several of the radiator shops in my area won't even look at these old brass radiators. EPA and lead activists have basically shut them down from using the old fashioned methods of radiator repair. Good luck with the project.//FB
