Thank you all for your responses. The 16A I got is from my father's '42 A, and we are fourtunate enough to have the manuals for it (thank you for offering though scotty). He has had it for 20 years, never used it (came with the tractor when he got it). It is a hand lift model, don't know exactly how it works. Right now it is outside, have to wait for spring for the snow to melt, then I want to bring it into the garage and go through it. I would like to put it on the Super A, as I have that tractor available. My '44 A is set up for cultivating. Sounds like it can be done, but working around the studs will be a trick. I need to get the mower on and off, as I plan to use the Super for more than mowing. I can use the Super A for short term, but another "A" in the future might be a good idea. It will be a good reason to get another tractor. Thank you all for your input, it will help me in deciding what I want to do.
