ALTERNATOR

The alternator posts I have read on here don't
seem to cover mine. My "M" was converted when I
bought it. There was a toggle switch installed in
the old light switch hole. To energise the alt.
you flipped this switch on then off. Since
flipping the switch on while not running drained
the battery (Read kids playing). I installed a
momentary switch in it's place. Works good, but
I've never read about it here. I think this was
converted by a Ford Mechanic, could this be the
difference? Any comments?...
